Jns2183
I guess it's due partly to the strength of the new low forming offshore and the timing of the phase but in a couple images I can show you whats stopping this from being a top 5 storm most likely. That dry air pours in during handoff shutting our preceiptitation off early Monday. The coastal doesn't really get going or does far too late due to the progressive nature and timing. I think some of the bigger totals like 24" plus were due to everything happening earlier and the phase being stronger allowing coastal to spin up. Yes we would definitely still dry slot some, and sleet might be an issue for a bit but the ccb makes those minor incidents for those lucky enough to be under it, although I'd wager at least 5 pages of doom posting during lull from those who a few hours later would be posting in ecstasy Sent from my SM-S731U using Tapatalk

I just work in that area, reside in Dillsburg. Would definitely be nice to meet up if we get this storm, as I am sure to be refueling the plow truck and diesel cans for the skid steer. Cheers to a hopefully historic storm! 1

mahantango#1
Bernie Rayno did a video on x. He is concerned that some places in Southern Pa. (Excluding Philadelphia) could see 2 feet of snow. 1

AccuChris
0z NAM had some changes to the southern vort energy but it looked just slower to me as a whole, as the northern branch was slow too. Regardless, a ton of QPF with this one and party is just starting for our area at the end of its run. 1

Blizzard of 93
I’m already getting exhausted tracking this beast & we are just entering NAM range now. I’ve been hunting this chance for almost a week. This could be a memorable high ranking storm for southern PA if all tracks properly.

You gotta close this one out just like Mendoza did on Monday night with a win.

Lol, I just said that I am exhausted from relentlessly tracking this storm for days, I am not giving up, but just acknowledging that I’m tired and need to rest up for the upcoming show.

Blizzard of 93
If anyone wants to have some extreme snow map fun, check out today’s Euro Weeklies & Weeklies Control for the next 32 and 46 days. I am not going to post them because I don’t want to muddy the waters with this current storm. But, my goodness they are truly impressive amounts. Bottom line is that this Sunday’s storm could just be the beginning of a great remainder of this Winter.
