Geoboy645
Looks to be a very cool start to the month for the entire region. Some very impressive cold anomalies showing up for later next week considering the time of year and how far out this is. Definitely a difference from the last couple of Septembers where we were in the 80s and 90s well into the month.
Frog Town
Curious if the pattern is trying to tell us something for the upcoming Winter? When was the last time Summer ended this cool? Obviously more questions than answers but getting a little excited with how things are setting up.

Chambana
Top Tier weather that looks to continue for the next 7-10 days, it’s incredibly dry though. A welcome change of pace with these temperatures as the last several years the 90s seemed to have lingered well into September. Gotta be the coolest start to September since what? 2013-2014? Brian D
Having colder wx to start off Sept really is refreshing. Bound to happen tho. Years of hot starts don't last forever. The beauty of weather, and it's cycles.

hawkeye_wx
It has been 2.5 weeks without rain. The lawns have de-greened quite a bit. We could use a good soak again.

We only had 2" in August here. Slight chance tomorrow, but overall looks really dry through at least mid September. Hopefully we get blasted with 5"+ from some remnants in the 2nd half of the month.
