Looks a little warmer throughout the record than the observatory numbers, maybe lower in elevation? If the Coop is nearby, it's over 400' lower. So makes sense it would be warmer.
CoastalWx
Looking at 850Ts, seems like a subtle shift north with the highest 850 temps on guidance. Might be your classic MHT-lower elevation Maine roaster. Just for Dryslot. A Tamarack Torcher.

dendrite
Just went out to refill the hummingbird feeder and the grape jelly and had a couple of yellow jackets and a bald faced hornet eating out of the jars. I waited until they were done and refilled. No injuries to humans or wasps to report.

kdxken
"NBM is showing 60-85% probs of 90+ next week away from the southcoast. The worst of the heat is expected in the interior as daily sea-breezes may temper the heat somewhat near the coast, especiallysouth coast. It appears humidity levels will be moderate through at least Tue and possibly Wed with dewpoints mostly in the low-mid 60s which would keep heat indices a bit below dangerous thresholds. The lower dewpoints will also allow overnight low temps to fall into the 60s" The Great Heatwave of '25 seems to be waning a bit no?

Our mean temperature this month is 65.7... Boston's is 69.0F. I guess normally we are running 8 degrees cooler than BOS in the means, instead of 3-4F.

Not a lecture for Christ's sake. My grandparents had a house in Long Valley, NJ which had a 3/4-acre lawn that we would mow. Each time we'd discover (usually painfully) 2-3 yellowjacket nests. My long-passed dad would not have followed the above - at about 4 AM he'd pour a half cup of gas into the entry hole and follow it with a match. One large nest had so much underground wasp-paper infrastructure that there was a bushel basket-sized hole after the burnout.

CoastalWx
6-10" of rain on the euro and 50-75+mph gusts depending on where you are. That would be fun. Of course this will track 300 miles east of here, but always fun to see.
