Good to see you again Cash! Hopefully all is well up in your area in SoPA. I need to stop by your area and meet at some point. You were always one of the friendliest people I ever met on here back in the days I lived at Millersville while getting my degree. I need to stop by the PA forum again and say hello :)

Thanks for the kind words.  Are you still up in the Frederick area?

Fall cankerworms have wreaked havoc on tree foliage here in Garrett County.  Half of the trees on the ridge we’re on are bare.  Foliage should leaf out later this month to mid July, hopefully.

Yuck. Didn't something eat all the leaves last year too?

5.5 back of the WC w/92 games left. If they can get to the break within 4 games, you never know.

Os were 17 under at one point and now 10 under. Keep it moving in the right direction. 5 under or better by the all star break and potentially getting Bradish and Wells back for the second half makes a wildcard seem doable.

Indeed! But oy...we'd still have to beat history though. To date, no team that's lost by 20 runs has ever made the playoffs. I see a scenario where if we play really we may just miss. Even that would still bode well for the next season though! Just wanna see them at least make a run at it if they get closer.

If they continue to play well up to the all star break it definitely makes their trade deadline plans merky.

Yeah, there was an outbreak at Deep Creek State Park’s ridge but by early July those trees had leafed out and recovered.  Should happen with the new outbreak areas this year too.

When we were sitting out on our deck Memorial Day weekend, I couldn’t believe how many of those caterpillars were covering our deck furniture.  Now seeing the leaf damage, I get it.

We have seen a bunch of green "inch" worms the last couple weeks. At least the lake is full with all the rain we've had, would be nice to get some warmer temps, haven't had the guts to jump in yet :snowman:

Yep, thats the fall cankerworm. They will eventually turn black.

I saw people water skiing Memorial Day weekend…it was in the 40s/50s air temp wise, let alone the water temp lol

Ravens sign CB Jaire Alexander after Pro Bowler's release from Packers

https://www.nfl.com/news/jaire-alexander-ravens-sign-cb-pro-bowler-packers

Excellent move imo. Former college teammate of Lamar Jackson, who has been lobbying to sign him. As we all know, you can never have too much depth at CB. Ravens especially know this.

This was such a low risk, high reward signing given the details of the contract. This only adds to a pretty solid secondary for starting sense with some of the depth pieces reputable and likely to learn over time from the people ahead on the depth chart. Considering our schedule this season, this is a huge pickup in a scheme sense. Need to stay healthy, and the rotation should help Alexander in that regard. I am stoked for this one.

Thought I had a bunch of ticks on my car yesterday after parking at Gambrill, but I think they're actually Weevils.  I didn't know that was even a thing.  This is gonna be one of those summers where the bugs are out and having a good ol' time.

Ravens are pretty stacked.. I don't think they have a weak part on this team. Maybe kicker. Defense looks great, maybe top 5. This also takes out the wild card of if Nate Wiggins is good or not.
