I need to stop by your area and meet at some point. You were always one of the friendliest people I ever met on here back in the days I lived at Millersville while getting my degree. I need to stop by the PA forum again and say hello Thanks for the kind words. Are you still up in the Frederick area?

nj2va
Fall cankerworms have wreaked havoc on tree foliage here in Garrett County. Half of the trees on the ridge we’re on are bare. Foliage should leaf out later this month to mid July, hopefully. https://www.heraldmailmedia.com/story/news/local/2025/06/13/caterpillars-are-stripping-trees-bare-in-western-maryland/84163402007/

snowfan
Currently enjoying an R.S.H.C. stout from sapwood. Phenomenal. The habanero and chocolate blend is awesome.

Os were 17 under at one point and now 10 under. Keep it moving in the right direction. 5 under or better by the all star break and potentially getting Bradish and Wells back for the second half makes a wildcard seem doable.

But oy...we'd still have to beat history though. To date, no team that's lost by 20 runs has ever made the playoffs. I see a scenario where if we play really we may just miss. Even that would still bode well for the next season though! Just wanna see them at least make a run at it if they get closer.

Yeah, there was an outbreak at Deep Creek State Park’s ridge but by early July those trees had leafed out and recovered. Should happen with the new outbreak areas this year too. When we were sitting out on our deck Memorial Day weekend, I couldn’t believe how many of those caterpillars were covering our deck furniture. Now seeing the leaf damage, I get it. Now seeing the leaf damage, I get it. We have seen a bunch of green "inch" worms the last couple weeks. At least the lake is full with all the rain we've had, would be nice to get some warmer temps, haven't had the guts to jump in yet
