Chris78
Except for 1 magical run to the cup in 2018 the caps always know how to disappoint in the playoffs.

They will probably be 10 games under 500 in a few days. Just a rudderless ship right now. No life. This could unravel pretty quickly. Someone(or 2) needs to be fired. Some of this was clearly correctable/preventable by actually doing something to improve the team in the offseason.

Aside from the special teams disaster, 5 on 5 was pretty damn good. 2

And that was a rough 10 minute stretch in the second period for the special teams. But they did pull it out with a great 3rd period.

Like almost called the cops level… Yep, couple years ago I had one 'hollering' while on the phone (and the back door open) with my now wife (she was still living in CA at the time) and she heard it through the phone! She said 'what in the world was that?!?'

Chris78
Is Jamie Moyer available? Ben Mcdonald come down out of the booth to pitch? They cut Palmers games in half this year. Maybe he could pitch every 5th day. 1

Can't win without pitching, and there is literally no solution to that problem right now. And while that's the biggest problem, its not the only one. We got rookie mini camp, OTAs, veteran mini camp, then training camp. Preseason NFL football will be here before you know it. 1
WVclimo
I attended that game in NY last June when the Orioles won 17-5. Yankee fans’ tears were delicious. Had no idea then that would be the peak for this group. Since that game, the Orioles are 53-66 (.445) and 11-21-5 in series play. In that same time, after a win the O’s are 19-34 with a .317 OBP and a 5.42 ERA.
Jebman
Dallas and Oklahoma are just PILING up relentless rain tallies. Austin, high and dry. True we sure don't need to worry about freezing cold weather anymore! We got our southeasterlies off the Gulf of America! I love low 70s dewpoints so much I drive with my windows down all the time! Nice moist refreshing dewpoints! But water - thats a completely different matter. It is likely to be dry well into 2029. Negative Neutral ENSO is extremely BAD for south central Texas, we could have record breaking, diaspora-provoking drought well into at least 2026, probably for several years and we are already in deep trouble water wise with record breaking numbers of Americans flooding into Texas and Austin because of the record breaking Jobs Market down here! Won't be long before WATER is Gold Bullion down here and we are trading in Hydro. In other news ------ Look out Mid Atlantic, Neutral Negative ENSO means you better stock up and get shovels and snowblowers. Washington DC will become the new Upstate Maine this upcoming winter - Freezing cold and frequent blizzards and people fighting over parking spaces and sick to death of shoveling snow every 5 days! I know this is way too early but these are the Jebman's Prognostications, early calls on snow: DCA, 70 percent above normal. Dallas, 100 percent above normal. Mappyland and PSU lands, running about 150 percent above normal snow, maybe higher. Will be refining these as the summer then fall arrives. You guys are gonna get to enjoy another good winter.

CAPE
Os took 2 outa 3 from the yanks, with 2 one run win bookends, and a blowout loss by the yanks in the middle game. Not pretty overall but decent starting pitching/some clutch hitting and great relief pitching did the trick. Still a mystery where consistent/effective starting pitching comes from going forward. RN Sugano looks like the ace.
