HighStakes
Aloft is very cold. 850's on all models are -8 to -12 during snow. This could easily become a decent event even if it's a relatively dry storm. Not going to take a lot of liquid to do the trick.

WxUSAF
Main s/w sharper and deeper on 12z gfs. Pretty good pass for the metro areas. Heights backed up more with the coastal.

osfan24
CMC looks nice. The thing with these runs is, if we can see the type of tweaks we saw with this last system, this could really be a nice storm. Just dig a little more. A little closer to the coast.

Sign me up Just 1 millimeter better. lol. If that 16" was frozen solid for a week, i'd take that TBH. Instead of 16" melting completely the next day in 48 degree weather. lol I like this type of winter where the sub-freezing weather hangs around for a week.

Bob Chill
Nice column for Friday. No worries with SW mid-level flow as the (weak) low approaches. WAA snow along warm fronts with NS shortwaves is typically low ratio. Kinda globular lol. Maybe not this time. 10:1+ seems likely to me.
