I drunkenly shouted out at the bar I was watching the game at to "break his leg, put him down like a horse, and piss on his grave"

A cute eagles fan turned around shocked and then chuckled.

I probably had an in but then remembered she was a dirty bird fan. That's a line I won't cross.

I need help.

Good evening Nibor. I’m not sure if Will has office hours, this late, on a rainy Sunday night. Stay well and dry, as always ….

Will and I would probably smoke a J before he reaffirmed my poor decision making.

Then while walking out the door he'd give me a sports tap and a wink.

I hate when they do that. Some of the hosts just turn the obnoxious bar argument schtick up to 11. I find it very off-putting. I miss Steve Somers, but then again, I’m just interested in the Mets.

As for football, I hope the giants can build on this.

Regarding Mahomes, I find him very likeable. Seems like he’s someone the team rallies around.

.

It's that style of play I find annoying.

It's going to be Eagles and Bengals in the SB, both teams are steamrolling their opponents.

The giants still had a great season, unfortunately some of the hype takes away from that. They were never in the Eagles class this year.

Giants would have been blown out by any of the other 3 teams that made it to this round.

Not sure what he’s commenting on, dudes dynamic. That performance yesterday was all guts, even assuming they numbed his ankle at the half.

Kelcie on the other hand looks like he could do with a dose of humility, but he backs it up on the field.

Yeah Kelcie needs to face some of those 80s kind of hard hitting defenses lol.

Either way, they're going to get humbled by the Bengals next week-- they've lost 3 in a row to them?

that is why i mentioned the defensive line and not the overall defense you have to pay attention..

The defenses (and the rules) today are frankly just not that good compared to that era.  The Giants back then also had multiple hall of famers on their defensive line didn't they?

Orlovsky just said on ESPN that Joe Burrow is the best QB in the NFL, I generally agree with that-- I mean the guy has never looked back from winning the national championship and changed the entire Bengal organization.

I would say if Burrow wins the Super Bowl this season (which I now believe will happen), we can elevate him to the best QB in the NFL. Or at least into a tie with Mahomes for the best QB in the NFL.

I'm figuring someone already made this analogy but here goes.   Potentially breaking our snow drought just shy of the record, as the final poke in the eye, reminds me of a certain hometown football team which will remain nameless, winning a few meaningless games at the end of the year a few years back to lose out on the prize for worst team and the  #1 draft pick that would have gone with it.

And, of course, the year they did manage to score the #1 draft pick, Peyton Manning saw that and said 'I'm going to stay at Tennessee!  They're better!'  Ok I added that very last part.
