We will be redefining the frequency of these events in the coming years. It’s not your daddy’s climate any more.

I don’t worry about that these days.  I have a fall/spring setting on my thermostat where I set both heat and air to whatever temp I want and the system switches back and forth as needed. 75/71 currently.
