0645 PM SNOW 5 SSE PAINESVILLE 41.67N 81.21W

Over 22” just NE of Cleveland and right on the lake too. Temps not a worry there that’s for sure! They’re still getting pounded too.

This is why I believe we all might cash a bit more than expected...heck there’s a special weather alert regarding the snow picking up in intensity between 8pm and 3pm for northern Erie

We shall see. Not expecting more than another inch at best here, if I’m wrong I’ll be pleasantly surprised.

Poster from Ohio has 17" and they lost power this morning. They're staying in a hotel due to the weight of the snow causing them to lose power. Lake effect is wetter than synoptic in early season events. It's not always high QPF until Jan/Feb.

Power has been out most of the day, it's a mess out there.   We left for a hotel.  I had 17" when we left around 5.

Oh... you man the parking gate at the airport?  Wanna make $20 every 6 hours and drop this yard stick in a snow bank?

Looks like we’re flipping back now that some better stuff is moving in. We did slip to a misty ice pellet for 20-30 minutes.

Must be some little slivers of warmth still wrapping around this stacked up system.  Doesn't take much to disrupt the dendritic processes.  Pretty cool storm aside from the lack of interesting weather in my backyard .

It’s up.  Nice view.  How much that double cam setup cost?  Equipment?  App Fee?  I’m interested in something like that.

I bought 2 of them on Amazon for $300. I installed myself, very easy. It's high up so I needed a 30 foot ladder. Was kind of sketchy lol. You can have it live stream for free. 2 packages for recording $60 or $120. $60 is movement only, $120 is 24/7 live video stream recorded to google servers and 30 days saved.

Save my nest cam link should be public. Let me know if you can see. That's looking north towards the city.

Nice thanks dude! Now I can see what it looks like before I get to work haha. Although it’s crazy from your house to my work the difference in snow sometimes. Even today there had to be double the snow at my work just 2 miles south of your house. I can sometimes see a difference in snow just driving down Sunset which is exactly a mile long from the north side at Camp Rd to the South side at Pleasant St.

Thanks for all the suggestions for the Nest cams! I am thoroughly impressed with them, exceeded my expectations. The motion detection is insane! The technology can decipher when a dog barks, sound, motion, or a person walks by. I love technology! 5/5 stars for my review.

Yeah I was driving from Hoaks to my house and went from grass to grass covered. I went into village and we had around the same amount as them today.
