Holy crap.  I’m just seeing that MVL here was 80F at 2am last night from wind/cloud cover.

Got into upper 70s around sunset but then rose back to 82F at 11pm.

Thats wild for that ASOS to rise back into the low 80s at midnight.  That’s the normal average high temp getting hit at like 1am.

Heh...looks like it's a first for that pre-sunrise period. I thought maybe there was a torch in there where maybe they stayed at 80F all night and ended up with a late day sub 80F thanks to a front or storm, but looks like nada.

We had inquired with the techs about high temperatures last year and were told things were fine. But the overnight lows have definitely stood out the last couple of weeks. Unless they hit it between obs, PWM has been 80+ all night. That's not normal.

Lots of NNE in the 80s last night.  Those clouds and increased flow hit just right to stop and even reverse any cooling that started at sunset.  Wild.

I still can’t believe that without that round of rain this morning it might have stayed 80s even at spots like here.

I think the convection helped that. The mixing usually picks up ahead of the convection like that. All of NH was down into the U60s or L70s.

Just a wave of warmth before the rains?  Makes sense, looks like most of the BTV CWA sites ticked upwards ahead of that cluster after trying to cool after sunset.

Better mixing as the inflow picked up? idk...I haven't looked at much yet. Looks like SLK has done 75F after midnight before, but it's pretty rare. Looks like it happened at 4am as well once. I'll have to dig for the year in the raw data.

They touched 79 sometime between 2A and 8A, but their record high minimum of 76 is toast unless that convection moving thru NH has enough meat to splash down the temp.  (or an evening cool-down.)
Was 71 this morning at my frost pocket, only 1° lower than at 10 last night.

September of 2008...I don't remember that one. Ha. Looks like it was prefrontal. M/U 70s after midnight and low 50s by the afternoon.

And it looks like PWM actually has done an 80+ night before. That torch night going from the heat/dews on 7/21 to the dry 100s on 7/22.

Love this app, has Madis on it too. Was looking at all the layers you can put on. Very cool, waves, currents tides, all air quality from NO to SO, winter radars, winter precip type forecast etc etc
