Insane rates in Lower Makefield...Easily 6"+ in the last 2 hours alone

Easy, I concur.

Crude method, but eyeballing from shoveling and seeing that path filled. Yeah crazy snowfall rates

I'd love to see some obs from S Jersey right now. If you showed me the current radar without a date stamp, I'd swear I was looking at a line of severe storms rolling through in August.

7.5” in Haddon Heights, NJ. 10 min east of the Walt Whit bridge. Still snowing pretty hard

In the forecast thread, whoever said “this is going to be like shoveling mashed potatoes,” was spot on.  Holy hell that snow is dense.

Snow is wrapped up here 5" of Miller Bust disappointment another one in the March 2001 column for me

No question the massive convection that occurred pulled moisture from the surrounding areas and hurt their totals but what I can't understand is the rapid speed of the system east

It really hasn't let up at all here. Might get close to double digits if it stays this way a little bit longer.

Had very loud, long rumble of thunder a couple hours ago and had a few other smaller rumbles afterward.

Almost up to 8" now since 1130 am... Absolute unbelievable snowfall all afternoon. Now down to only moderate snow. 8.5" on the event.
