there is the tiniest of gaps in between cells in Howard County, and I somehow ended up right in it.

I'm preparing myself for similar heartbreak during my first trip to the Midwest next month :P

Fringed in Ellicott City too. The cutoff of the north line was right along I-70.

That was a heck of a velocity signature from Silver Spring to Takoma Park...surprised no damage reports so far.

looks like a couple of damage reports from that area have come in now.

00z EURO says hello 90s next weekend. ~590DM ridge parked over us.  Brutal summer inbound methinks.

It does worry me a little how it seems to effortlessly zoom into the 80s already this spring.  Might be a nasty summer!

The latest CPC outlook has much of the east coast above normal for the next three months.

Hope so.  We've worked so hard for years to get a house and finally have a pool and intend to use it.

Good.  That's payback for everyone who celebrated a miserable May last year.

Wow and DCA has recorded above normal every month starting with June last year, including some insane departures like Jan Feb at +6.1 and +8.7.  Even March ended up +0.4 despite the cold mid-month.

Few more months of above normal, then we'll average it out with some -8 to -10 departures next Dec to March.
