Our record high today is 97 I believe. Today made it to 86-87 I think, and was very humid again. The dewpoint now is 72, and I was just outside and started sweating in a hurry.

GFS has brought back the rainy nor'easter last few runs including 00z tonight. Rain kicks in around hour 87 and stops around hr 138 as the low closes off spins for days. Over 2" of rain this run and a bit closer to the coast than 18z. Surface winds howl for a time, especially for C and SNJ and south shore of LI. 12z GGEM and Euro were both misses so we have a battle ensuing.

Your warm up on the Euro today has been reduced to a few days of upper 70's and with lots of convective chances. Hardly noteworthy in May.

I'm pretty sure we'll get into the 80s unless it's rainy/cloudy all day. At this time of year it takes almost nothing to get us to hit 70 or better, we'll probably get up to 76-77F tomorrow.

It looks well above normal and soupy, congrats Forky and warlock. Enjoy the sauna.

Models are hinting at good convective potential if that happens.
