The greatest snowfall comeback of all times continues. The expected 3-6"on the snowboard in Central Park

will push the seasonal totals from 42.5" to 45.5"-48.5".

Those amounts would let NYC move up several more notches on the top ten March snowiest list.

30.5.....1896

22.3.....1888

21.1.....1956

19.2.....1941

18.5.....1960

17.4.....1967

17.1.....1890

16.0.....1916

15.9.....1958

14.1.....2015

you're missing 1914's 21.4" on the list...we need 2" to get into the top ten...

I guess the NWS didn't like that month on their March list. ;)

But it's on the monthly seasonal page. They also shorted

the 1916 amount on the main March list. When we call

in our snowfall amounts tomorrow we should let them know

the March top ten needs to be corrected.

This is not our last accumulating snow . We will be moving up on that list before this is completely over.

Pazzo faints.

So I am curious as to thoughts on road conditions tomorrow.  I have a moving company moving my stuff from Lebanon to Hillsborough around Noon (they are coming from Allentown).  Hopefully, the roads stay slushy/wet only.  Of all the days for it to snow...

Anyway, 3-6, on grassy areas at least, looks like a good bet.

Were you around in 82? Now that was an April storm to remember.....April 2003 was nice but was much like tomorrow's event; 82 was a genuine cold snowstorm, and for that era, a big one.

April 82 was one of my favorite blizzards of all time for sheer ferocity combined with the record cold and a high number

of lightning strikes. That was also the last time NYC set three consecutive daily low temperature records. The out of

season nature of that event really made it special.
