Looking a funnel cloud. Not dropping down though

yeah there are actually two areas with the cell the one in front of you is the strongest , but the hooky part of the storm is strengthening and should take over, the one you see is rooted to a sick ass updraft that was overtaken by the storm that merged, I imagine the lightning there is scary good with lots of positives but as that updraft weakens that rotation should fall apart....the other one will stay south of you.....

for the record that was a hell of a storm merge, and its open to the south again and its got all it needs to do it again, Angiers is up next, and FV....

...THE TORNADO WARNING FOR SOUTHEASTERN CHATHAM...SOUTHWESTERN

WAKE...NORTH CENTRAL HARNETT AND NORTHEASTERN LEE COUNTIES IS

CANCELLED...

THE STORM WHICH PROMPTED THE WARNING HAS WEAKENED BELOW SEVERE

LIMITS...AND NO LONGER APPEARS TO BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING A TORNADO.

THEREFORE THE WARNING HAS BEEN CANCELLED. HOWEVER GUSTY WINDS AND

HEAVY RAIN ARE STILL POSSIBLE WITH THIS THUNDERSTORM.

That's one of the larger warning boxes we've had lately

And in the blink of an eye you will have sun and blue sky peeking thru. Suns out in kvegas. Looks like more coming out of the foothills.

Wish i had that rain Burns. Went just south.

First time in a long while I've gotten good rains.  1.46" so far today.  Two day total of 3.04".  No more crunchy grass for a while.
