40/70 Benchmark Posted January 18, 2014 Share Posted January 18, 2014 I've measured 3" on top of the car, closer to 2" on the driveway. Must have taken some time to start to accumulate on pavement. Awesome winter refresh here - everything was brown only a few hours ago. Nice job to everyone that called for this to play out pretty much like it has around here. Moderate Snow here, about 2" and 33.4 deg. Yup BIT of a bust I saw the 6z btv wrf (12km ) show precip hit se/ ema harder and then finally the 12z caught that and the flip to snow . Quincy was snow. was snowing here too. immeditately after the split the snow was sticking and it was treacherous anywhere west of 28.
