Geos
Wind chill not nearly as low as it was forecasted to be... School cancel fail Yeah same here. -33° was the coldest it got here. I see pretty much all the WC warnings are down now. 0° now.
stormtrackertf
Anyone else had any house damage from the weather? We had a rafter snap in the roof under the snow a few weeks ago, now with the freezing/thawing, they shingles are leaking. Gutters on one side of the house broke off from the weight of snow and ice on it after those two big storms earlier this month. I guess the drifts really built up on that side. Hoosier
8 degrees. This has been kinda lame here.
Thunder Road
Wind chill not nearly as low as it was forecasted to be... School cancel fail Yeah same here. -33° was the coldest it got here. I see pretty much all the WC warnings are down now. 0° now. We briefly hit -34. (We somehow snuck a -16 6-hour min in.) But still, it really wasn't that bad. Not that I'm complaining, but we didn't really need to close the university for two days.

daddylonglegs
Even here i'm wondering why they didn't have school today. Sure it was cold, but it warmed up quickly. We managed 1F or 2F this afternoon... They are going to really have to watch it from here on out... This is like number 4 or 5 here.

Stebo
Another below 0 night coming, already down to 1, and the very few high clouds we do have are about to move east.
hawkeye_wx
This cold snap turned out to be an underperformer. We were at least several degrees milder than what was expected throughout the Sunday night to Tuesday period. Perhaps our thin snow cover and closeness to the edge of the snowpack had something to do with it.

cyclone77
Hit 9 above today, which was way warmer than forecast. Like Hawkeye mentioned the lack of snow cover just southwest may have aided in the warmer temps. Already back down to 2, and should go a little below zero this evening before rising later on.
