Typhoon Tip
BD front may be right on top Lowell. UMass Lowell station ob is right there on the N side of Lowell and they dropped from 83 to 72 -- of course, there was a heavy shower cell nearby... But their DP is down a little too. Could be both. I'm still cozy at 82/71 here in Ayer. Data from UMass Lowell on Jul 02, 2013 at 14:35Current Temperature is 71.
Snow Bow
60.4°F with fog/drizzle. NNE wind at 5 mph. Sitting on the deck drinking a nice hot coffee and wearing a light jacket, in early July at 2:15 pm. Who would have thought? EXQUISITE!!Sounds like the best day of the week. The kind of day you just want to bottle up and save for when the dews have been in the mid to upper 60's occasionally tickling 70 for a week or so.Down to 66 here off a high of 79 earlier. Typhoon Tip
Sky conditions just changed pretty significantly here in Ayer... The Nimbi have disappeared and the upper and mid level debris cleared off substantially.. We are mostly sunny, and the wind veered from SSW to SW. It's like a real warm sector now. Yet, this BD is lurking... Interesting. Steam bath now too 84/

Tropopause_Fold
BD is starting to wash out i think. it's slowed down a lot just to the NE of logan. made nice progress from rockport to the nahant area...but has been rather stationary over the last hour. Typhoon Tip
Interesting... I don't think this is mere coincidence. The sky condition over vast areas of the interior have rather abruptly begun to improve, with lots of sun now... I was just noticing on the guidance that there was a about a 2 to 4 DM height rise scheduled for the 6 hours post 12z -- I bet we have some DVM working into the region, and may also explain why the rad is drying up, too. Looks like the BD is slowing now... May just get to about BOS-BED-FIT? or not...

Typhoon Tip
was 81/72 now 71/64 I'm almost wondering if this is one of those deals where your wind pops back around to the SW near sunset and you rise a little yet again. Seems the boundary is really stalling right now, and with heights rising it's going to make it harder for it not to recede.
