COD has really become the go to site for me. Great looking models graphics, not to forget to mention radars, etc. Kudos to those gals/guys.

putting Twisterdata data to shame. Mostly 4 guys responsible for all the new stuff. NAM/RAP completed. GFS will be finished soon.

Grand finale is going to be point/click sounding fcsts.

That's gonna be fantastic to be able to compare soundings from different models.

Rain looks insane.  Good luck.  Heavy stuff stays far south of here (not that we need it either)...

GFS not as wet as the NAM, but still 4-5" amounts showing up. 2" line further northwest towards DLL.

Could be a lot worse:

Funny you should post that. I picked the "best" time to be in Fairbanks, Alaska. We had a -21 reading the other day (the coldest April temp in 20 years) and a record low the next day. It's beautiful up here ... deep snow, brutal temps but minimal to no wind, clear skies now, but a snowstorm last Tuesday. The Northern Lights displays have been incredible. Flying back home to the lower 48 will be a shock to the senses this week.

Not a nice place to live outside of the summer months...  I think it was even below 0F up there in November last year...
