0.68" yesterday brings April total precipitation to 4.02" at LAF. +2.13" departure to date. Obviously more to come today.

Jan 1-Apr 17, 2013 total precipitation now at 11.22" (+3.04"). Last year in the same period of time it was at 6.61" (-1.57").

4.76" since yesterday morning now has us up to 9.32" for the month.  Mother nature definitely compensating for last summer.

Is that a record?

Another gorgeous day in the 40Fs.//   at least the rain looks to be done...

Can't wait until this weekend when its in the lower 80Fs...........................in Miami .....looks like sun and upper 40Fs here.

Is Turtle hurricane dead or just busy at school?

11.30" is the record at MLI.  They've had about 7" there so far, so they have a long ways to go to get the record.

So much for the 60s today..

Milwaukee will get another cheap high late in the day or overnight for about the 5th time this month but 90% of the daylight was in the 30's and 40's..   its been much colder than the departure for the month so far leads you to believe.

1.50"  of mostly snow qpf up in Ashland and Bayfield counties.

April 18th snow is officially gone. just some patches and piles left. Waiting for the lake to break up. saw a few daring ice fisherman yesterday... braver than me!

54 today.... accumulating snow tomorrow night, but virgin snow is nothing this time of year....

Til those patches go its still a T snowdepth ;). Jokes aside do you know what day the snowcover (1"+) was laid down?
