Best 1" or less measurable event since 2006-07

You suburban guys...feel free to talk about which of these were good in your backyard and/or any minor events (1" or less) not on the list you found interesting

Here is a little refresher on some of the events

 

3/16/07..that was the massive soaker that changed to sleet and snow and dumped on the same areas that recently got the good snow

 

2/3-4/09 - this was another good one for those same suburbs/exburbs

 

2/21-22/11 - this was another the dumped on the far burbs...especially PSU hoffman/Phineas land...I think I remember Phineas wondering why people 70 miles from him were complaining since his backyard got crushed

 

1/9/12...this was the "HM" storm that gave Wes a couple inches

 

2/11-12/12 - this was the super windy squall...

I almost went with 2/11/12 because it actually snowed three different times, but I basically got whiffed by the "squall" line so that still stings.

 

Went with 1/9/12 because I remember it pretty well and it was a nice rain to snow changeover example.

that was a pretty sharp cutoff...I think DCA got an inch and I got barely more than a cartopper....

Dec 26, 2012 was pretty nice imby.  3.5 inches of snow before the changover turned it into glacial pack.

Who voted for 2/18/07?...That was a burst of late afternoon snow which was nice because it coated the sleety mess, but I don't think it was big anywhere

3/16/07: I was living in Reisterstown at the time. Picked up close to 3, but sleet took forever to transition to snow. The area where I live now received about 8.

2/3-4/09: Very intense band dropped south into this area from southern PA around midnight. It lasted for a couple hours and produced a little over 3.

Don't remember any exact dates but I always enjoy those surprise squalls that give 1/2-1" more than events where there is a storm coming and it only ends up giving an inch due to mixing/track.

The squall last February is overrated. I like snow with less wind and big flakes. Prettier that way.

I've always been the opposite.

 

The more wind with snow the more I enjoy it.

 

My all time favorite storm was 2/10/10 with the whiteout conditions, truly incredible.

I voted 1/8/11. It looked like a band of storms on radar. Instead it was a squall with big flakes with greatly reduced visibility.(snowrecho)

I didn't see 12/5/09 on the list.  I think DCA was 0.2.  My second favorite is 2/18/07 and gets my vote.

I got  1.5" IMBY and most of the area did better than 1" so I didnt include it
