Thunderstorms galore next 5 days

Damage In Tolland

Recommended Posts

Looks like the next 4-5 days will offer plenty of t-storm chances for many of us in SNE as various s/w's and impulses rotate thru and we have the added bonus of a stalled cold font in the vicinity. Then Sunday or Monday possibly a widespread severe event if things break right.

Funny how Wiz makes a thread about the wx blowing and he misses all the potential for storms the next couple of days..dumb

Dinky looking storms on radar but there's a decent bit of thunder with them. I was getting it in stereo there for a bit with the one storm over East Hartland and the other near Winsted.

There is some good ML CAPE, so there are some decent updrafts. Some of the distant CB's I saw had a bubbling or boiling look to them, so the updrafts are probably goof if they can develop.

Yeah, even though the storm near me is a good 20-30 miles away, the thunder is really loud. Deep booms that sound like TNT from blasting
