On a side note, finally got the mower fixed up and it's working like brand new. Turns out there was indeed a bad transmission at fault and the cause of the push mower to not auto-pull. DaculaWeather Posted August 29, 2011 Share Posted August 29, 2011 FYI, I'm re-doing my pages for GRLevel3 (gotta have something to do!) and these will be the normal default 5 sites: Atlanta, Birmingham, Greer, Charleston, and Ft. Rucker AL (see my sig). That should cover most of Georgia, South Carolina, and Alabama. Also for those sites, I have a Storm Rainfall total, base velocity, echo tops, and composite reflectivity loops in addition to the base reflectiviity loop. I've started creating pages for many of the radar sites in the southeast (and eventually other locations) so that when bad weather approaches, I can load any site and have it going in a matter of minutes. I have my main weather computer running Atlanta, another computer running the 4 other sites and I have my new laptop and 1 additional computer to run as many as 8 more. [end rant\] I don't like how certain people are jack holes all the time. It's like behind the veil of the message board, you can drop all manners and civility (if you ever had any in the first place) and just be as rude and condescending as you want. They probably wouldn't do that at their jobs or in proper company somewhere. And then they complain about threads getting derailed when they're at least 50% responsible by posting snarky comments. For those who don't know, former WBTV Meterologist and current WTSP Meterologist Chris Suchan (aka Jetstreak) will be leaving the Tampa St, Petersburg CBS affailiate in late September to take a Chief Met job that he is yet to announce (due to contract issues). Congrats to Chris on getting a Chief Met job Would love to see him make his way back up here working somewhere in the Western Carolinas... I'll keep everyone posted on where he ends up... That would be awesome if Suchan came back to the Carolinas. I really enjoyed his enjoyment of the weather and his explanations. WBTV has had several meteorologists to step in to his position since he left (that 4th spot occupied by someone other than ET, Al Conklin, and Kelly Franson), and I have not been nearly as big a fan of their work. However, which of the Charlotte station chief mets would be moving on/retiring? I don't see Eric Thomas or Brad Panovich (who visits this site) leaving anytime soon. At least, I hope not, as I feel they both do exceptional work. Maybe he could get on at the ABC or FOX affiliate in Charlotte? I think it's more likely that he'll be heading somewhere else in the country. Too bad, because whomever gets him will definitely have a superior meteorologist. Also, I had no idea that he went by the name of Jetstreak on this site. I've seen occasional posts by him in different forums, but I never made the connection. Thanks for the info.
