  1. It's kind of depressing, but I push through it. Not because winter is over, but because now I have months and months of outside work to do, in relentless heat and humidity, and goddamn bugs. Whether it snows or not during winter, I love having to do nothing outside. Too bad our summers are endless, and winters fleeting.
  2. Event total here was 0.92"
  3. I have pretty much been there for a couple weeks. Both feet fully in now.
  4. WB canceled. Spring mode. First 90 degree day probably less than 6 weeks away.
  5. So excluding the western highlands, and the far NW burbs sometimes, we basically get no snow in Dec, and it seems the good March run as a winter month has pooped out. And usually much of Jan is snowless in recent winters. It's basically 3-4 weeks where we have a legit chance of winter weather anymore. Sounds more like central NC or SE VA 15-20 years ago.
  6. 0.56" here so far. A bit of an underperformer, and I am totally fine with that.
  7. Nepenthe Brewing Alpaca Fracas! DIPA for HH.
  8. Some big rumbles here. Radar looks pretty lit, but mostly to my south currently.
  9. I tried like 20 times to get an appt on the CVS site. Impossible. Even when there were slots available, after I filled out the required info it then said nothing available lol. Went to the Walgreens site and it took one try to get an appointment. Getting the first shot on Saturday.
  10. After that debacle I had to pick a new word.
  11. if he gets any significant playing time, he will have at least one 5 TD game and one 5 INT game. Maybe in the same game.
  12. Looks like plenty of 50s and some low 60s for next week. Pretty typical.
  13. The late week event isn't LR anymore, but since it is being discussed here still.. The real story is it's looking like a respectable period of rain for the warm part of the storm. Probably a decent soaking of an inch+ the way it looks now, and with no rain for going on 3 weeks, it is needed. The colder air that comes in as the precip is ending still may produce a little snow, but doesn't appear it would last long or be cold enough at the surface to amount to anything.
  14. 36 currently after a high of 42.
  15. A chance of snow and sleet before 10am, then a chance of rain. Cloudy, with a high near 39. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. Little or no snow and sleet accumulation expected.
  16. Ultimately winter is going bye-bye, so Ji is right. And realistically the late week event, such that it is, may bring some decent(and needed) rain, and possibly some very modest frozen as it departs. Upside of maybe an inch? Ok cool, but hell even here that doesn't do much for me. Sure I could say my winter snow total is 13" instead of 12, lol. I am all in for a late season warning level event, but there is no sign of that.
  17. Late week storm looking more elongated. h5 vorticity becomes stretched out and a weak secondary wave forms. Hopefully we can get a decent amount of rain on the front end while the initial low is still intact in the OV and the secondary wave moves east. Any chance of frozen is on the backside and appears to be associated with the leftover energy from the initial low, but that is weakening and getting squashed south more each run by a wall of high pressure.
  18. Made it to 60 here but with the wind it never felt that warm.
  19. Took a while to get that dry slot further east but since this morning the upslope trajectory has been pretty ideal for Denver metro. Radar has looked more and more impressive. Satellite image is beautiful on COD. Tried to post it but the file is too big and I cant be bothered deleting images lol.
