  2. may very well only be an EF-2 in that case.
  3. After 3 summers of flash drought this pattern has been a welcome change. Hope it keeps up throughout the summer. 1.62” so far today, missed out on anything severe but first legit rumbles of thunder this year.
  4. They are trying. AI versions and weekly products concur. We'll take it! The progression is logical after the series of Plains and Midwest troughs perhaps sets up a little Great Lakes trough. If we're lucky the trough axis would include the Tennessee Valley. Unfortunately it won't last long. I'll enjoy any mild weather we can get, because I'm concerned it'll be a true Southern summer.
  5. That's the same street before and after??? Yikes.
  6. Greenfield, IA tornado will be “at least EF4”. Pretty significant damage indicators being found. Of significant, the asphalt scouring and how the debris looks granulated. Typically these are trademarks of upper echelon high end tornadoes, along with debris lofting 40k feet into the atmosphere. I would venture to say preliminary rated 190mph or 200mph until engineers get on site to conduct their analysis. Engineers such as Tim Marshall.

  13. That’s more of a fun run from the 18z GFS. thunder chances but remaining warm over the weekend … I don’t mind that. It won’t be raining all the time and there will be cumulonimbus crispies to ogle completely different world compared to what the GFS was thinking three days ago when it had that excessively deep trough…
  14. That line fell apart here. Maybe we get that one to the south.
  15. I didn’t. It was in the 50s at night and the bedroom was 62 this morning. Today is the first time I’ve turned on the AC this season.
