Just saw the euro weeklies this morning, basically a hold from yesterday. Starting to think our best timeframe for a coastal storm is the second week of January (more like Jan 5-12 ish). Nothing trackable yet, but something for us to watch, particularly precip anomalies across the Gulf South through our area to the NE along with ample cold air.

Id probably bump the totals up in the lower Hudson valley and sw ct, euro and gfs both indicate more there. Also not so confident about central jersey getting 6 inches here.

The SE Ridge linking to the -NAO has always occured, however a MET previously stated that we will still snow if we have a 50/50 low present. Likely what happened a lot 1970 through 1989.

yup...getting worried its going to turn into what happened last year. Bruins were right in the thick of things right up until about this time of year. Oh well...if they are going to keep losing thankfully they are close enough to the bottom to where they could have a shot for the #1 pick if the lottery balls fall their way.

Same....just under 3". Once I hit Medford, it was down to thing coating, and then at Everett...GONE. Tough early season start for the city....

If we get that sleet with freezing rain on top of that...that will turn into cement with temps below freezing.
