Another cloudy day that was forecast sunny .visible is ass
-
-
does look like the 2nd step down is nearing... This one will introduce for the first time blue contours for those that need pretty colors for visual aid One thing I'm noticing is that already, the S/W translation speeds ( the wave's movement through the field, not the flow moving through and around the wave) are moving very quickly. I'd be prepared for haulin' ass wave speeds this winter - problematically. Probably effecting storm morphologies and headaches.

Won’t need AC but last half of month warms up relatively speaking

Happy Red October for those who celebrate - Go Phillies!! Unseasonably warm weather starts the month with temperatures today and tomorrow well into the 70's to low 80's. We turn much chillier starting on Saturday with highs by Sunday remaining in the 50's. Rain chances increasing by tomorrow night into Saturday morning.

I did it last Sunday when the rain was blowing sideways off the lake and getting in around the unit. Floor and walls were soaked so I said, f.uck it, it's out now so I might as well store that shit away.

today will be close if there's any sun-right now forecast at EWR is 78
-
It's fairly close in all respects to what the Cfs2 has been showing, just around .5C cooler. Unfortunately, that probably won't happen with the Niño level.

Let's see what actually transpires with this upcoming winter, since September was warmer than normal.

Low of 62. A couple of final summer days before we turn cooler. Phils game now at 8 tonight. -
Trend of the CANSIPS is as I expected...its strengthening that ridge and edging it further southward. For instance, it's trying to do this for December. But I think we end up with something like this:
-
6z euro ai continues back north. Almost looks like the runs a couple days ago now with over 1” for DC
-
I’d take that in a hot minute if I knew it was right
- Today
-
The AI models have shifted north since yesterday afternoon . For Augusta, 3 pm Wednesday was .30". At 6 am today is .88". As a result, the WPC has shifted from .35" to 1.00" Its easy to see that the WPC is biased toward AI.
-
I don't love the look of the CANSIPS in February....that looks rather suppressed at peak climo.
-
Hey now! You still have the best park job ever at G&M's pulling that car into a tiny spot! Hoping for a better than average winter with this super Nino. If it resemembles 82-83, with a December event, the smaller event before the Feb 11-12 event and then a big one, I'd be thrilled. I was Nothern Delaware for the 83 event but LYH had 14-18 region wide in 83.
