It looks to me that Gabrielle is currently being affected by an ULL to its west, and dry air to its north.NHC still predicts it will become a hurricane tomorrow. blob:https://www.tropicaltidbits.com/a290b4b1-9c78-4bd0-8b59-9ebf3196f9b8

Waiting to see if this essentially non moving storm about a half mile to my south can drift north.... 25 minutes now of T&L with the smell of rain in the air , but no rain yet..
-
Yikes. Wasn’t @Chrisrotary12asking about this place in the golf thread a while back?

32 at mi casa. Gonna be a cold one

I just want rain. The way things are going up here though, we would dry slot and end up with a couple hundredths.
-
We had several nearly stationary t-storms this evening over several areas of TRI.
-
Looks like a cutoff low rolling through next weekend, and maybe one more after that. Hopefully, that ends the heat.
-
My eye spies a very slightly-ish positive PDO. Get those warm SSTs along the NE PAC coastline, and we are in business.
-
I mowed mine today. The back stayed pretty green and hasn’t stopped growing. I mowed it low hoping we freeze tonight and put it out of its misery.
-
Growing up, this was not uncommon.
-
Frost delay up here. The pro shop also warned there would be one tomorrow too.
-
Looks like a rainy pattern possibly setting up mid week and beyond coming up. Cooling off to by then...

Nice... can definitely see a nice light show back your way... In fact could see lightning high in the sky from just west of Charlottesville near Ivy driving home a hour ago...

Warmth will be back but clocks ticking, I love a warm fall and then a cold winter. What I don’t love is six months of November.

As for me, I think my place has to get out of D2 drought. This level of drought is in NW and SE Ohio, Michigan, and Illinois.

nashua pd Video surveillance has confirmed there was only one shooter and they are currently being detained. The scene is still an active investigation but there is no further danger to the public.

I’m there as well. To get the 10” - Give me a 6” event, 3” event, with a surprise 1” at some point in the winter.
