Had been under the heavier bands much of the early morning, not gully washer level but about 1/3rd- 1/2"/hr rates. Rain has tapered down to light as the storm crawls north and pushed west right into Jersey (pushing the heavier bands inland). Currently 58 with dp 58 and 1.60" in the bucket (2.25" 2-day total ).

Now up to 1.65. This morning has been gross. 1.10 since midnight.

Delays weren't too bad. My flight from PHL took off last night about 30-45 minutes delayed, but still made the destination ahead of the scheduled time. This storm wasn't that bad, at least it won't be mentioned in the same breath as Sandy or the Blizzard of 1993 in the future.

When the eye comes over you should get some pictures from inside the eyewall...clear with circular clouds surrounding and calm; please post em' if you can!

It does look more muted now than I initially thought. More like a couple days in the mid to upper 70s. For reference central park's mean absolute maximum for October is around 79. So unseasonably warm but it happens every year. There could be a return to heat mid month however.

Nice Noreaster but AWTTY the inversion prevented big winds. 55 mph winds might have been at tree tops but in all inland was meh in comparison to the 10s of better storms.
