  1. Past hour
  2. mod/heavy snow at the moment. 1.75" 9.6F
  3. Temp down to 9F, snowfall up to 1.75" Pure cold smoke!!
  4. Well that’s not ideal. Guess I need to head out soon, sinus cold or not.
  5. Nice to wake up and see the snow falling… thought the dry air might delay things. Eyeballing 2” already. CLE bumped up totals to 10-15”. Gonna be a fun day.
  6. Careful fruition about that.Because the dry area is just to the south. And west of those big blobs and moisture, unfortunately, it doesn't look like the radar is filling in.It's actually getting drier
  7. Mr Map left me a note saying snow started around 1am. Measured 3” - pixie flakes falling
  8. You are right I didn't walk them, I let them into the yard and threw tennis balls for them for 5 minutes. I later had to go out for about half hour to look for something I misplaced in the open garage so that was a longer spell.
  9. Might be sleet. And yeah, I almost never let my phone get that low
  10. Dang! Really? Still snow here two miles from you. Taking the foxhound for an ATV neighborhood ride soon.
  11. Snow quality has really declined here, tho it's still ripping. Lots of rimed flakes, some dendrites mixed in too though.
  12. It'll be nice to get it. But given the radar, Southwest is starting to dry up a bit. Unless it fills in, it looks like this. Snow's gotta cut off a little earlier
  13. Borderline heavy snow under this band Nassau Suffolk border
  14. Northampton Long Island: 13° with light snow and a dusting down.
  15. So what is the verdict? Shovel/snowblow before the change or will that just make surfaces worse with ice? This mess should be light enough that a crust on top *shouldnt* make it too difficult or jam the snowblower. What are you guys doing?
  16. Surprised at how heavy the snow is so early in the ciity.
  17. Swept off the covered porches and shoveled some, and it's so cold out there. Just beautiful. Someone wake up maestro so he'll stop complaining.
  18. If we are comparing this to PDII directly it won't be as major as the big cities from DC to BOS wont be in the 15-30" range. Pretty sure PD2 is #1 all time for BOS. So doubtful it makes it up there regionwide with amount of people it's impacting and very big snowfall amounts. For SNE and much of the northeast, it's a big dog save maybe the S Coast.
