  3. Nope! Got close though: 69.9 was the high.
  4. The dew points have gotten down to the upper 40's for part of the time here, with an overnight low-temperature condition of temp: 55, dew point:50. It feels so nice, like the dew points I used to feel out West. It's a change from the seemingly endless 70-75 dew points. I probably should have walked down the street to try to take a better picture of the red sun tonight. I didn't get a good picture. It's the reddest sun since 2023.
  5. Today
  6. I do look at ensembles, and maybe you are correct, but I am still annoyed at how good the ensembles looked for a big February snowstorm and everything went poof. Guess that is the way it goes. WB 18Z Euro is wet again west of the bay, and still raining at end of the run on Friday. WB 18Z EURO ensembles are also wetter through Friday afternoon compared to 12Z.
  7. There's no managing the vast wilderness that are the Canadian boreal forests. They are not only massive but basically depopulated of people.
  8. I had a cookout during the late afternoon and early evening. To me the mid to upper 70s here felt perfect for it.
  9. "Create its own environment", especially. caught up within a COL type regime
  10. A steady light rain is falling. Temps are cool. It is so surreal. It is like someone flipped a switch. Very thankful for the blessing of cooler weather.
  11. Just got off work at the brewery and tired of beer so I’m having a triple berry mescalito.
  12. What a perfect day. Got in some yardwork and then time at the river with the family. Just finished a dinner of homemade Indian curry, butterchicken, and corn on the cob under the canopy in the driveway. Time for an IPA. Summah’
  13. Canadian forests are massive. Like, some of the largest on the planet, maybe even compare to the south american rainforests. Forest management on a continental scale literally. Fires are not new either.
  14. Yeah. Slower outcome, warmer water, probably less shear, more time to consolidate, which it would need to have a chance. I agree with that.
  15. 70° / 50° what a day. Folks hiking, biking, swimming , playing golf or simply enjoying the beautiful weather! I hope that someday, the miserable shut-ins who spent their day pressing the X or Shit symbols on their phone can one day feel the same joy.
  16. Yesterday
  17. There are weather variations, regardless of global warming. I do know that California used to manage their forests by clearing underbrush and taking down deadwood. They have stopped all forest management and focused state funds elsewhere. Unfortunately, some activists have set wildfires in the west, hoping to publicize the ill effects of global warming. I realize Canada is a vast forested wilderness, but I wonder if they ever invested in forest management?
  18. Maybe Carol, or not. That one was squeezed between two highs iirc
  19. does this match any U/L wind analogs of hits here? I doubt it
  20. I'd rather it develop more south so it's a slower outcome, otherwise it's def OTS
