  1. Past hour
  2. We have to count Karen the stats padding STS, it probably won't harm most peoples' scoring anyway. I am editing the scoring post.
  3. yup 28 here already. Took the trash out in shorts and a tshirt. Had to remind myself for a minute that I love winter. Stayed out for a few minutes to suck it up now. It always makes a difference in the long run forcing the acclimation
  4. I hope it maintains a social distance and complies with all health recommendations.
  5. lol I only 'care' so I don't have to water the new grass. Mostly just something to track. For some it has been quite dry for the last couple months so I get wanting a soaking rain.
  6. Karen’s genesis at ~44.4N is the furthest N on record for any TS or STS, beating the old record of 42N from 1952 by a notable amount! Karen had to make a statement! AL, 11, 2025101000, , BEST, 0, 444N, 334W, 40, 998, SS, 34, NEQ, 20, 50, 50, 30, 1012, 190, 20, 55, 0, L, 0, , 0, 0, KAREN, S, 0, , 0, 0, 0, 0, genesis-num, 033, TRANSITIONED, alB62025 to al112025,
  7. I'll be absolutely floored if my area doesn't do better.
  8. 35 wow..new low for day and looks like the growing season over by morning
  9. Crazy stuff but yeah, that’s probably a TC or STS.
  10. Today
  11. WB latest EPS control; my first big snow is only 30 days away. Lock it in!
  12. Pretty much all the models show warmth until the last week of the month unless the CAD is stronger. Its a bit weird for the cold to be coming from the NE this time of year. We used to get strong fronts from the great lakes/Midwest sweeping across the lower 48. None of that really showing up for the next couple weeks at a minimum. Further SW is really going to be above average the next few weeks. Places like Mississippi could be 90s for multiple days.
  13. Pretty warm down here in NOLA, Bourbon St is lit
  14. Already 42 here, crazy how this feels given the endless barrage of summer to near summer lows.
  15. Looks like 1" - 2.5" with 15 - 25 mph winds is on the table. Boom potential is 2" - 4" rain, with 30+mph wind. Bust is less than 0.5" and a slight breeze.
  16. 30/27… gonna put up a decent number of hours below-freezing tonight.
  17. I was on my balcony in Beltsville and watched it change to snow. Had to overcome a lot but got 0.5” and that’s earliest ever.
