Magnolia Felton Delaware 13 & Irish hill rd no power trees down, power crews out. 1020 p.m. tornado warnings, where in the basement. Wife and daughter heard the wind and I told them that what a tornado sounds like. I don't know if one hit, but scared the shit out of me. There cutting trees on all the back roads. Power trucks all over. Will see what it looks at day break when I go home from work.

Didn't witness the pencil, but it seems to have brought a 46 mph gust. Plus, a cliff of a temperature drop in it's wake.

Didn't quite know how to take him at first. A guy from BC commenting on our local weather as much as he did, but you could tell right away he was informed, courteous and interesting. Just a general weather nut with a lot of knowledge that would engage with anyone. I'll miss his posts and contests. Proud to have won one of his last. Who knew, 76 doesn't seem that old anymore. RIP Roger you will be sorely missed.

Who ordered the hurricane in March?

Lost power. Was pretty drunk and went to bed. The wind was crazy with lots of branches falling. I'll assess(later) in the morning. Back to bed.

I've seen more bears in this area than i've seen in my entire life. In the past two years i spotted a bear or a pair of two at least 5 times and the 30 years before that i've never seen a single one.

The power went out at my house for about 2.5 hours. Power flashes- winds at hurricane force. Have not seen straight lines winds like that since Sandy. The low top squall line sounded like a freight train before hit - reminded of the tornados back in the 1980's in the MId-South. Over 28,000 residents without power at 11 pm in Lehigh County at one time. I spent 35 minutes just picking up tree limbs around the house that I could see. It was sleeting and snowing when I was cleaning but has now stopped. The power flashes was the dominoe effect from the fuses blowing all at the same time after talking to PPL guys near my house.

Another tree just came crashing down in the woods behind us. If I’m keeping count properly, that’s three so far this evening. Hopefully any non ravenous bears lurking nearby can kindly confirm these statements.

14° in just a few minutes here too. The rain was crazy, like a bucket got dumped on us, for 2 or 3 minutes. That was fun.
