52mph wind gust here in Spring Twp Near Reading -
That visibility there is 1/4 to 3/8 mile so this is moderate to heavy snow that has been falling there for most of the afternoon.
-
Too bad we had the early morning high otherwise could've registered a sub 15 max. Seriously staying at 12-13F with sunny skies all afternoon is impressive. Forecast low is 2F but maybe a 0 is in the cards.

My measurement seems higher than most around here. I’m not sure why because I’m confident in what I measured. I am somewhere around 4.75 maybe 5 inches. -

Got nailed with about 8" here in Coventry. I wish this had happened when i could still enjoy days off from work. -
I just walked out to the Saugerties lighthouse - their station is at 8F with 44 mph gusts. I could only stand being on the water for a few minutes before it really started to suck

Man if that line from Quincy through Bridgewater can just tick SE it's game on here. -
coming around to the idea this might be it...still not bad, but i keep reading negative stuff here. am looking at beginning the process of retiring some of the winter gear. big snow blower finally thawed out and is working again, but one wheel is shaky. needs service but if i do it this year it won't be back til march. will wait til next year, got the two stage one should anything happen. don't think i'll need the pack boots again.

We lost the last storm because it was a disorganized strung out mess that dug too far south.
-
a brief partial dusting at around 4 am. nothing since. was gone by my 7 am walk. was outside without gloves collecting the trash cans which had blown away, fingers started stinging in 5 mins.....dangerous weather.

1” here in west babylon but looks like they are having fun Hamptons east. Totals out there? -
Glad to see the forecast of 55-60 mph winds hasn't verified. Not even close by my estimation. Maybe 40-45? eta: just checked Ridgely Mesonet- Max gust 45.7 mph
-
too cold...probably cost us that last storm. need it to be, as one met said, around 28-32. that's the bulk of our storms.

@Albedoman If this comes true (2 weeks+ in advance) you'll receive major kudos. Even half of the prediction is major props... 11F/winds 20-30mph gust -
Usually get some great snow devils here with all the wide open fields, but the glacier with no additional snow on top prevents that. Also prevents the blowing and drifting from making a continuous mess of the roads.

The only thing that never changes is torch tigers ability to always be a warming asshole!

Definitely had more snow since the ~1" this morning. In fact it's still snowing now lol. No idea on the grand total for this, way too much wind blowing it everywhere. 11F
