Pure fantasy….. -
What if it does?

Next run will be a cutter. Thats how we roll. Then the next system follows the boundary pressing S and hits the Carolinas while we smoke cirrus. I kind of mean that jokingly BUT dont tell me that isnt a common way we fail in this kind of setup in a Nina ie cutter then squasher.

We might as well get a HECS to break the streak. Last time I went this long without a double digit event, the streak was broken by December ‘92 storm. -

That's not even concrete - more like slop! Ground was too warm but otherwise a nice storm here with 10". 9.7" this month so far. I do like seeing snow every day.

Callin @Blizzard of 93 Yall want a snowstorm to root on, go look at the GooFuS 1/24 "event". Then hold onto side rails.... and look at the snow map. Verbatim, it is likely one of the most prolific snow events I've seen, maybe ever. Maybe not for widespread disruption, but entire state at 12+ Through the run, somerset jackpots at 62". What I/we wouldnt do to see something even remotely close verify. Someone needs to post the map. Its just a statewide slammer. Based on pattern evolution and looking like a zonalish flow, based on tellies blah blah blah, it sorta fits the flow. Just go look so you have something to bitch about when it doesnt happen.....till then, I'ma gonna dream. -

Starting to see more indications that tomorrow afternoon into Thursday and even possibly extending into Friday morning we snow across the Mountains. It's beginning to look like we will get some Lake effect flow spilling over the Smokies. I would not be surprised to see totals increase overnight into the 12Z runs tomorrow. There also is a robust vort max that passed over Houston this afternoon bringing rain. That feature is currently over Louisiana headed generally this direction.
