Miss to the south yesterday, to the north this morning, and another miss to the south right now. This was our last chance for rain for a long time so May's total will be 2.2" which is a bit more than half of normal. I had less than an inch for all of April. Southern MD in huge trouble this summer with dead yards and wells drying up. Maybe even wildfires

This has been an incredibly warm spring. I guess some folks just won't be happy unless the temperature is in the 70s, 80s, and 90s every day.

another .45" this afternoon, about .35" of that once again falling in just 10 minutes so now the total since 5/20 is 4.90". not bad. the sun is starting to break through now.

good all we need is enough cold air and a juicy southern storm coming up the coast and bam we get a blizzard like we did in 2016 during a super el nino.

It’s an interesting period though, because lots of people have their boats out in the water. I haven’t looked at tides… But that could be a quick 4 to 5 hour gust 40+ impact on the waters. If I was a mariner, I would certainly pay attention to that and I’m sure that won’t get any attention until last minute too.

Gully washers this morning with 0.5”+ amounts at nearby stations. Saw a quick lightning bolt looking southwest earlier as well from the first line. We needed the rain, but we’re now at a week of mostly cloudy conditions lol. Successful precip producer…now let’s reel in some sunshine.
