  2. When do bands start getting formed ? There was supposed to be heavier returns going through Northern NJ, when do those start ?
  3. The tail end of that band is rotating through. It did its job. Laid a solid coating down. Brought the temperatures down near 33. Let's see if this can go on a little longer. I see a little drying to my west.
  4. I believe the mta full closure 1 am That may only be lirr
  5. That issue with the flood warnings has been resolved over two years ago. Worked with the USGS and Mt Holly setting up criteria for issuing flood warnings for the new USGS solared powered telemetry flood guaging stations near my backyard on Spring creek and the Little lehigh Creek. The most accurate guages in the system IMHO. I have down to the .5 ft of height to the 100 and 500 yr floodplain levels
  6. Cabin mode for a casual 3-5 feet weekend in the sierras
  7. No, but some drifts may exceed 8 feet. I assume it's a fun question about those amount, but I would say local max to 36 inches is possible, 30 almost certain. Think it's already pretty obvious where in NJ and central LI, and would say (like BOX is forecasting) inland SE Mass.
  8. you're right the NW edge is often better than modeled
  9. Yeah I mean things seem on track? Maybe ahead an hour.
  10. I was out at 7 and thought we had about 1.5-1.75" OTG (but about 1" in the hour I was out), so they're on this so far.
  11. Now pray for storm to bomb out, retrograde further and tuck in longer. That would be the maximum hilarious factor of the rare back end cover after the news stations just predicted total snow in Harrisburg of 1"-2" after the forecast this morning Sent from my SM-S731U using Tapatalk
  12. storms like this make me appreciate the resiliency of the subway system. the fact that service is still up and running even as roads are becoming impassible is kind of incredible
  13. is it just me or is the latest HRRR runs really cutting back on QPF as least for areas N/W of Boston
