  1. Past hour
  2. Maybe we can tighten these up as they reach the river valley and they tap into more S-SSE flow.
  3. The Cell looks to be just about on top of me now but not much rain and just a few rumbles. Wind is starting to pick up though.
  4. you must be agonizingly close to those showers near I-93?
  5. Thinking about going to the top of mount wachusett
  6. That should be a Tor on that storm near New Milford . Major spinner
  7. IMPRESSIVE! Watching from afar. Wild afternoon unfolding!
  8. The view there is OK. Top of Mt Sugarloaf is the place. Drive to the top and there’s a viewing platform.
  9. If only we had respectable mid-level lapse rates. Would most likely have a few discrete monsters
  10. Any of the big farm fields in Hadley or Sunderland should be good
  11. True but a trough is going to not be stationary for the entire winter. The signs that a trough in the eastern US could be the dominant pattern is what is promising. We have cutters blow by in many of our highest snowfall winters. Not every storm is going to be a 40/70 special…
  12. Newark has reached 90° for the 39th time this year. Thunder is also reported.
  13. There’s some rotation with this storm NE of Greensboro. Also, it’s dumping a ton of rain.
  14. Isn't there a Tree House in Deerfield? Maybe it's got a good view.
  15. That map depicted is a lot of cutters on the EC. That’s a deep trough in Midwest
  16. A new Tornado warning may be need for Litchfield CTY soon?
  17. Looks like we all get a railroad ticket to Tornado Town
  18. I just got here…no view ughh. I’ll try mt pollux
  19. @Damage In Tolland all the climate models right now are pointing to some sort of ridge out west dominating the weather this winter. Even the CFS which tends to torch Canada more than reality. Not sure I buy into the “big” winter scenarios but good chance it should be better this year compared to last 3.
  20. Slow, soaker of a rain event today. Working on 5 inches of rain this week.
  21. 0.62” with the cell that came thru. Nothing severe. Sun is back out.
