  1. Past hour
  2. I see a 30incher in NNJ (30.7")! That's what I was looking for... congrats to them and I'm sure they'll receive some fine parting gifts.. 29f.
  3. At the risk of spending even more time on message boards talking about weather, Ill ask, what is this other site?
  4. The other fun fact with this one-warm the day before 45-50 for most spots...No rain once the storm got going anywhere which is highly unusual. Storm took a perfect path
  5. Yeah it isn't all bad (although I'm already trying to gtfo of here soon). At least had a fun pool day with the nieces yesterday, and my mortgage is pretty darn affordable by NE standards. Still, I miss Boston like crazy! Glad I was at least but there for 2013 & 2015 winters.
  6. I’m still about 8” under seasonal average in Greenfield. Need another storm or three!
  7. Yeah, we usually score on the front end of the miller b before it jumps. I'll always roll the dice with a big miller a that runs inland just east of the mountains even though as you said waa is fairly easy and safe for a widespread hit.
  8. That must have been a hell of a band to produce that much difference in an hour lol
  9. Getting some decent snow bands here on and off. Picked up a quick quarter inch.
  10. I can't speak for you but my sister only measured 6 inches in Easthampton, MA. There was a huge cut off.
  11. Highest amount in the upslope so far is 22.5" near holly river state park. Red Creek near canaan at 16" earlier this evening.
  12. Oh Right, I Forgot This Indignation. Even though I’m very confident, 50” fell here in Woonsocket / Cumberland, the Official Record talked about is that 30” in 24H in Woonsocket. So my Area just lost that here too to the WORST and LOWEST measuring place in SNE - TF Green. Literally Famous for How Low they Measure in every storm in my life. They now are the King of not just RI, but All of SNE…. which is Gross. Truly Gross. Is there a way to Sign Up to Be the guy who measures? I would LOVE that job. Though my Music Career would be an issue haha. But I want to know! Amazing how text communication makes the people of the 21st century angry and offended. I miss the old days when you had to Punch someone or at Least Scream at them in Public to get them mad. Now I scream in Text NOT at people but at the Clouds… and I’m the insufferable D-Bag What a World.
  13. The wats and got 8” when we got nothing a couple weeks ago they should be at 60 out there
  14. ORH was also the previous record 33.0” in the 3/31-4/1 ‘97 storm and then 32.9” in the Dec 1992 storm before that. Ironically, I think the previous 14 years, the record holder was PVD again with that 28.6 in 1978.
  15. Still freaking snowing. This is probably 1 of 1 for me as well. Holy cow.
  16. Honestly, I'm sure so many people want to go to Florida to not deal with the cold and snow. Plus, no state income tax.
  17. My total for the day ranged from 5.2 to 6.3 The average was 5.6"
  18. Yes that’s correct . I’ve never seen 36. I have a picture of my truck in that I can dig up
  19. Automatic A. No one will remember the misses b/w 1/25 and now
  20. The Other Strange thing - I Shoveled a path at 11am. In the 9 Hours SINCE 11am, I have 1.25” on that path. And that’s with help from the winds giving it fake measurements with snow from the side. To Confirm it, My Snow Depth went from 22” to 23.5” (Again, 10” OTG was before the storm with a hard crust that is in tact). 13.75” Compact Total at best, which is Confirmed again by what I see. That’s not29, and The 6 hour measurements weren’t 20 either. Does it just Refuse to Snow over me? It’s been going on since 2020. So I know everyone is saying “CORY YOU HAD to get 24”! Smithfield and Attleboro and Pawtucket got 26-30!” But I have Zero Proof that I got more than maybe 19”. You guess shouldn’t be Furious with me; you should be Happy I’m not saying “I got 30”!! Woo Look at Me! I’m Awesome!” LYING to you all. I know @JACKASS and @bristolri_wx will think I’m “An Insufferable D-Bag” whether I Lie or I complain about the truth of 60% of My Tiny State having The #1 Storm All-Time and it being blah 3 Miles away, even If I go give them a free concert in their driveway. Now a storm like this Very well may Never happen again in my lifetime, And I couldn’t even pull 20 in it. MEANING the next time I Do get 24”, it’ll be a more Normal storm duran where everyone from Will to Kevin to Ray gets 36+. This storm JUST 10 miles north would have completed and fixed Every Gripe I have had the past 11 years. And it euros have been years before I complained hard again. Now I better just live in Northern Japan next winter. Oh Right, and there’s chance I get a criminal record tonight when I go out driving. Because EVERYONE ELSE got 24”-36” and we have a Communist Government “No Civilians Allowed On Roads!” apparently even though the Governor is a long time friend. But Insurance worry is Insurance worry. Not to mention making sure to look like We’re in Need of Help to the Feds. Again; here’s the video from 11am, and it’s almost Unchanged since then.
  21. So I’m not thrilled obviously that I missed it but 16-17” is major but not historic which is what it looks like my town got. In line with 2/1/21 or similar type storm.
  22. Wasn't alive for 1978 but that's how I feel about October 2011 and why it's my favorite "winter" event of all time. The impacts and rarity are unlike any snow event I've experienced since. January 2015 blitz is a close second, especially since it coincided with senior year meteorology classes. Everything else kind of blends in.
  23. Not even close to 2013 in north central suffolk. Thought this had a chance but fell pretty short. This was a great storm tho.
  24. ha, thanks, i dont care either way just found it funny. Whats regular users, unlimited? You can set Will to 70 lifetime and he wont run out.
