The NBC crew tonight said it was at 7, which I assumed was true since it’s on their network. But no. It’s 820

4-8" with @SnowenOutThere and crew getting about a foot. I'd take this, and most people would be ecstatic with this except Ji.

The end of the GFS is a nice snowstorm and then we somehow mix on I-95.

E PA/NJ/DE Winter 2025-26 Obs/Discussion

ralph, For the first time in probably 3-5 years, we have an ARKLATEX low forming on the CMC model at the end of the run. For those youngsters who do not know how real weathermen used to forecast without relying on these crappy models, this type of LP forming forming in this location is harbinger of a major 6-12+ incher snowstorm for our region for a good 75% of the time. Its nice to see one even show up and my forecast of not until the 15th-19th period for a major winter storm could tumble. This is the first track able storm that may realize some good accumulating snow if the Quebec high and blocking are in place. -
I love how Payton legit gets pissed off when the offense of either team screws up.
-
Another "end of the run" tease on the Gfs without an ending.

Ahh so it's dissemination! (I remember it saying that when the Euro had an issues a few weeks ago that delayed it for a little while)

Manningcast is straight up fire, so good

Missing the heaviest precipitation has made the icing pretty efficient here. Hoping the temperature creep up is slow here. Would love to still have everything coated at sunrise. -

Plot twist: 6th is a very big storm, but it’s another cutter that ushers in a crap pattern. Question to be answered is if the hostile pattern sticks. -
It breaks the DT rule with a closed 5H low west of the Mississippi.
-
Understood, but while that means that it wasn't an issue with the processing on those sites, it's a dissemination issue with the data. The model chugged along just fine; issues with the actual runs are extremely rare.

I agree that Brady has gotten better (Romo is good too). Obviously they know the ins and outs of the game better than almost anyone, and they do a decent job in the color role. I still prefer the Manningcast for MNF when ESPN has it (one of the few good ideas coming out of ESPN in the past decade).
