Severe Thunderstorm Watches are up - Made it up to 92 today after a 77 low before it clouded over. Got up to 96 yesterday and unfortunately had to go out in it to an afternoon dentist appointment in Ft. Washington. Ugh. Had 14 days of 90+ in July + 8 days of 90+ in June for 2 days so far this season. Currently down to 81 with 77 dp and the RAIN has come! However I only have 0,.08 inches in the bucket so it is just getting started.

Tornado warning now for that Middlesex/Union county storm.

Outflow boundary along and south of 78. Storms firing up along it. Highest risk area for excessive totals and Flash Flooding sadly looks to repeat in an area that was recently hit hard....along and especially south of R78 in NJ and then into and near SI / NYC. Areas to the NW of that especially west of 287 and along and north of 80 seem to be in an area where excessive totals and the threat for Flash Flooding is minimal and decreasing.

I've noticed, although that looks to finally be changing. You just never know how or where these events are going to play out.

Is this the housefly support group? I too had a bunch inside last night...killed off 30-40 either by fly swatter or a bug light/zapper my wife had bought for by the firepit. Had some a few weeks ago, but nowhere near as many. Never issues in the past either other than a stray one here or there. I did discovered an outdoor swarm yesterday when I rolled by garbage can from the curb. Sure enough...maggots and quite the stench coming from the can. We don't store the garbage can near the house...but I figured maybe it had been a mistake to roll it over near the spigot to spray it down versus taking the hose further away from the house. Even still, not sure how they would've found their way inside so quickly, not as if windows were open, but seems hard to believe they weren't related. And just so I meet my quote for weather related content in this post...currently 81F & cloudy.

Yeah I was just working in the vegetable garden, and I heard it constantly. Seeing some signs on radar that that storm is trying to build south a little bit. Maybe we'll get some heavy rain from it.

not impressed so far, things are “drying up” from west milford on east. definitely gunna be a screw zone somewhere.

Definitely showing up in the observations with visibility down to 2 1/2 miles.

Big winners in Harford county early - every turn east of downtown Baltimore as it pops up so far.
