  1. Past hour
  2. Getting out of school early walking into the house, smelling soup on the stove, “the” TV tuned to the local news, with all the out-in-the-snow reports, news of cancellations, meteorologists in front of awesome maps, possibility of school closed the next day, etc.. and I wonder why still love the snow..
  3. Saw this pic floating fb today .
  4. Looks like AI to me notice wheels not sitting on the ice properly
  5. Well we got our one 2"+ event. That was a nice year of tracking. Sorry if you slept through it. Maybe we'll get another one next year.
  6. End of month still looking wintry. Final stand?
  7. lol laughed so hard my neighbor heard me
  8. PSU's sensors are about to go off. Did you know we get 98.985% of our seasonal snowfall in March?
  9. Nobody gets to complain about interminable, muddy, cold springs who isn't in within a few miles of the coast. If the sun doesn't spend 80 percent of every day burning off the pea soup fog, then you don't have it that bad. Not having it. It would be like me complaining about a heatwave at 88 degrees. It's still too hot for me, but I try to think of the less fortunate.
  10. There was a big time wind shift around 1:00pm in Hazleton. A West wind that was blocked by the water silos turned into a north wind that's now blowing a blizzard of the roof of the plant. Of course the fallout ends up right where the unload hose hooks to the truck.
  11. I like them. It’s a late winter tradition. Viewing them is like comfort food around the holidays.
  12. I go to the others to read their analysis, but rarely post in them. He's been in the two I mentioned. Not sure about NYC.
  13. We would love to see a video of you on this...
  14. While anything can happen in March, you can get a good read in general of what the rest of winter will be like by around the 2nd week in February.
  15. lol no it’s just funny. I fully expect pics of Ray’s backyard with his deck in the foreground through his screen slider, your neighbors yard, and Dave’s rotting 50 shades of grey bench in his front yard.
  16. The EC AIFS and EPS AIFS are now the two highest scoring models.
  17. It hasn't snowed at all in March since I moved back here in 2022. Ok maybe some snow TV but no accums at all.
  18. Didn’t know those pics bothered people. Will not do anymore
  19. So what? I’ve been called a fuckton of names here. Stop dwelling on shit
  20. It happens in winters with good snow and snow pack. If we could go right to high dews and summer I’d be fine. I just hate what is coming this spring of cold lingering forever . Rather keep it wintry . This is gonna be an ugly ugly spring
  21. Don't get me started, lol Historically it's always been that way! Very, very few snowfalls of any kind those two weeks. No scientific reason for it...it just never works out. Even 2010 had a fail that last week of Feb, and then that which shall not be named happened the last week of Dec! Again, nothing scientific...but it's like sports when a team just never plays well in a certain stadium or park, lol
  22. GFS and euro flip flopped in the long range today.
