  1. Past hour
  2. We need ridging into Alaska to drive cold air south from there. A more rounded ridge pointed into Canada would just bring Pacific mild air in. In December especially near the coast the source region for airmass is very important. And obviously a roaring Pacific jet would tend to knock the ridge down and nudge it east.
  3. When will this team admit the interior OL sucks and make changes? Fucking Harbaugh. Trade for Keven Zeitler. Also give the damn ball to Mitchell- Henry cant run outside at all.
  4. I would say past 100 Mph. That's incredible video! Most amazing to me was now calm the people were there amazing people of Jamaica!
  5. I don’t believe that’s where we would want all the storminess. That’ll keep knocking into west Canada and west coast and the ridge will keep rolling over. Not a good look to funnel in cold arctic air into CONUS, which is necessary for our snow chances.
  6. A wet October is sometimes a good sign for winter. Cold Octobers are better but dry/warm is almost always bad. Unfortunately with this storm we saw the usual pattern of the SE ridge flexing and forcing the storm track inland.
  7. You picked up .5” in 45 minutes…that’s good rain.
  8. So, a bit less than average, but who knows? lol
  9. Close to 1" now. A bit of a local min but still a nice drink.
  10. A 39-year-old man died on Thursday after he became trapped in a flooded basement in Brooklyn, as sudden heavy, record-setting rains brought flash flooding to the New York area, the police said. A neighbor said the man who died had become trapped when he went back to his basement in the Flatbush neighborhood to rescue one of his dogs. A diver pulled him out, a Fire Department spokesman said. He was taken by ambulance to Kings County Hospital, where he died. Officials did not confirm whether his death was caused by flooding.
