  1. Past hour
  2. Where did you get that from? The latest run of the North Korean.
  3. We could get a 2-3 week period of winter ala 2015-16-have to hope for something in that small window if it does indeed appear

  5. My guy is here now replacing the coil. Here's to getting our climate control fixed today!
  6. Congrats to you guys in the south metro. We greened up over the past 3 weeks, which is crazy my pasture is never green in mid-August. The models seem to be indicating another round of moisture later this month, but we'll see. Beyond that, I am anxiously awaiting to see what winter will bring with such a strong El Nino.
  7. Yeah that’s not cool or a cool pattern . It’s AN everyday there
  8. That ridge displaced a bit to the NW of the intense-El Nino composite due to a favorable extra tropical Pacific in conjunction with some high latitude blocking. It's similar to the strong composite.
  9. 1.89" for the week for me. A lot of sudden green around.
  10. 0.36” overnight. Sucks to see wetter weather ahead. Lots of outdoor events planned
  11. With dimentia don’s sky high oil prices, a warm winter will be just fine.
  12. Today
  13. Every f****** day. Not sure what you can do about it.
  14. One more eclipse photo from Spain. Really a shame we clouded over at the last minute, but I am already looking at a possible trip to Tunisia for next summer's six minute eclipse.
  15. Don't blame me for climate change. Speak with Mr Wolf.
  16. Seems like we got positive news, just got to shell out the $$$ and get the replacement part
  17. Bad guess! There's no 500mb map on this site, but 700mb will be close enough at this point.
  18. Ah, when you first posted, I was thinking is this deja-vu (?) but maybe I'm remembering someone else. Oh well, one step at a time; hoping for the best.
  19. 0.50" yesterday, was actually surprised the line of storms held up to hit the area last night. @ChescoWxits a shame you cant use my ambient weather station to help with your data.
  20. 0.58" yesterday and just over 4" for August, so I've got no complaints.
  21. 76 / 71 clouds slow to burn off. Warm / humid the next 3 days mid - upper 80s perhaps a stray 90 in the hottest spots Wed. Cloudier wetter Thu - Sat coming up with trough into the northeast. Cooler through the wetter peiod 8/20 - 8/23 and into early next week before warming 8/29-8/30 and beyond.
  22. It's just about impossible to get a really warm AK in an El Nino this powerful.
  23. Only 0.22" of rain for me...bit lower than I would've preferred to avoid watering the garden this week but it's fine with more rain chances coming up this week. Does anyone know what might happen for next weekend? Models seems to leave storm chances in much of the weekend, which is a bit of a bummer after the last 3 weekends were pretty dry.
