That must be crude, refined products won't be coming down in price any time soon. Refined petroleum is only going to increase in price because the real problem isn't availability of crude, it's the lack of adequate global operating refining capacity. Right now US refineries are running at maximum capacity; they can't produce any more refined product than what they are producing right now. Additionally, refining capacity around the globe has been diminished by various geopolitical factors including Russia's invasion of Ukraine and dumb-dumb's closing of the straight of Hormuz, which has reduced the availability of refined products across the globe which is driving up prices. The refined product produced here in the US is now also being sold onto the world market at high prices, driving our prices up. a rudimentary understanding of capitalism, supply and demand, and global refining capacity quickly demonstrates that refined products will become more and more expense as we get closer to the end of the year. I'm keeping all 5 of my car fuel tanks full, and if I had a big oil tank or propane tank, I'd be filling that now, too. -

Haha true but it’s not like we are going to be skiing next week. All it’s gonna do is deliver the final hit to my already struggling tomatoes -
That was a very wet dog walk. Will end up around 0.75”.

Actually oil prices are down three and a half percent for the day. I guess they figured they gouged enough for this week. -

I haven't driven by station yet but I'm sure it's up another 20 cents. Winning... -

Trying to pronounce it like an Aussie without doing the accent is a major fail.

Cooler summers in general have been missing since 2010. Most of the region finished around the 10th warmest summer this year using dense rank sorting. The Poconos weren’t quite as warm coming in around 19th warmest. So the higher elevations were the place to be.

Paid 4.40 for gas in my hood. What a disaster. 59/57, at least the weather is good -
A lovely, high end moderate, steady rain in Arlington. Despite not having had a long duration, soaking rain for what seems like months, we’ve been lucking out with these forecast over performers for the past few weeks now. Haven’t had to water the in-ground garden for some time now.

Another failed torch? Looks like maybe one day in the lower 80s. -
I was biased by JB and his "El Nino Madness". He makes some very good points with his language and illustrations. Your westerly wind burst may be interesting. Thanks
