  1. Past hour
  2. Hopefully we can get another band to form out of that
  3. I like a little more amped reality, given the trends of the last few systems (vs earlier in the year). We’re less in a de-amped Nina scheme than we were.
  4. 16" of cement in Duxbury. First pass on the driveway. Years ago made the investment in the big dog SHO Ariens snowblower. All the bust years worth it in one day of snowblowing.
  5. Lost power about two hours ago. This is some incredible stuff. The wind is insane.
  6. Still gusting in the 50-55 mph range in sw suffolk, snow is steady still but not too heavy anymore
  7. Yeah, here in Old City im hearing reports of like 16. But walking around this morning, with compaction and melting(?) already, didn't feel like a lot. Definitely not 20", closer to 12" My sister is sending me pics from Carteret, NJ (Across from staten island) and they easily got 2 feet of snow. Historic there. Same as newark airport and areas east of there
  8. Same. What is the point of 5 whole days of tracking and constant anticipation when the outcome is usually crappy in some way
  9. Like what I'm seeing down here on the 700mb fronto evolution.
  10. Hmmm. Snow verbatim but it came quicker. Wanted to see it move back instead and fall more after dark. I think we in the lowlands really need a late in the day or ideally nighttime passage to be in the game. But maybe we can eat away a little at the projected warmth and make some day snow work.
  11. Hopefully ...this is the temperature layout on April 10 at 2pm ( J/K)
  12. You did well on the bnacho scale, but Tom Brady is coming back
  13. Outages are really ramping up. The Cape is a mess, and it looks like all of the South Coast below Route 6 between New Bedford and the Bourne Bridge is in the dar.
  14. Just now finishing up a 3 mile post storm jebwalk. No complaints about this storm. Was beautiful and have all the trees a nice coating.
  15. I think the problem is that they rely too heavily on the NBM which has far more mesos/SREF data ingested into it than global model data. The same thing happened a month ago in the DC area, the NBM kept giving them a foot when it was clear they would be mostly sleet.
  16. Unreal. Honestly questioning if the passion and investment is worth it. Just hope the season is over.
