Canadian must be annihilation anybody have a map
-
the worst part about the Canada is it dosent go back to snow after sleet. That would be unusual
-
Yeah ain't mad, just worried about it getting worse by being too far north. At this juncture I'd hope the models haven't been so wrong that we get skunked completely by that. But it is 4 days away...

For sure, and it will be under modeled as well. -
The mid-Atlantic will be fine. At least DC-Baltimore. It’s Richmond and the southern areas that might see this slip away. Just as PDII became a tedious sleet storm for them.

GSP is mostly sleet on the GFS.

There will be a good fronto band far interior if this storm finds it's potential. -
My area is more like... 'Aww sleet, sleet mfer, aww sleet...'

Oh get ready for the freak outs about amped / sleet in the storm thread.

You just keep listening to that TWC jazz.

I am not going to get mad at 15 inch storm with 2 inches of liquid after seeing dustings and trace storms all winter. At least we get the snow first

It’s impressive to me in context of the previous winters and with respect to the fact it was like 8pm when I made the comment. Overnight low, no - I’ve already been below that a couple times during good radiative cooling overnights . At 8pm? To me that’s “real cold” for the region ‘beneath’ upstate NY / Sussex. No, not historic - just more significant than other ‘cold’ we’ve had. To clarify. Context always matters and sometimes we don’t add enough of in these modern times, myself included. Down to 7 now.

This was the key. Idc what kind of cold air intrusion you have, a low onto Charleston, WV is gonna cause mix issues. If we get the primary closer to Knoxville area, that probably perfect. I would even work with Eastern KY. Just can’t get it north of there or there will be mixing.

Can you smell the ice yet?
