Yes. That's due to shortening wave lengths. EPO becomes relatively more important. -

Those Shreveport to Atlanta lows are gold in Naperville, Ill -
wowzers. Looks like a one-storm winter
-
Yup... pretty stupid post if you ask me
-
Today was really nice. Got up into the 20s at most elevations. I could go for more of that. Felt comfortable out there for once lol. Been over a week since the last snowfall but I’ve still got my spots for fresh tracks.

33.4/29.6 with a drizzle/flurry mix falling at 7 pm here.

Thank you its all in fun. Much more enjoyable than 34 and cloudy or its only -7 meh Arctic. I swear some of these guys and girls think winter in SNE is constant cold with snow every week. We ain't you and you ain't us.

The moderation we had in Jan did not mute. This one seems to be on track and was never a torch. That may come after V day.
-
We had a brief warmup after Cmas around the 28-29th but yeah, the real warmup was 2nd week of January. It’s been pretty cold otherwise. I’m not on the torch train at all for mid-Feb. I think it will be AN but only modestly…seems like guidance has been trending to push systems underneath us as we get closer to that period versus the other way around. To be fair, even modestly AN will feel like a furnace given the previous 3 weeks.

calculus1 started following Feb 4-5 significant SE snow threat
-
Are we getting slabbed?
-
-
That’s always been there. Might be a SST thing but it will be warmer verbatim if that pattern happens/
-
Never in my life was there so much snow on a SE wind that February and March. Storms that usually changed to a mix or snow either held on to all snow or mixed late enough not to reduce totals that much.
-
lol, gonna be a tough weekend in the high elevations. It’s all good, Ginxy, just sitting back laughing at you and Wolfie tag teaming it the past few days. I have no horse in the race but it’s hilarious. Keep fighting the good fight.

Bro you are shot!! Completely. First of all December was frigid. New Year’s Eve into New Year’s Day it snowed…and cold. Then yes it warmed up. Nobody has refuted that. But that’s been it. And Tenor means…the overall flavor. And the overall flavor has been cold. So that’s the tenor. I’m sorry you can’t understand that. Nobody said any warm up has failed. We said they’d been muted when they e been shown. Nobody said it wasn’t going to moderate. But now the moderation doesn’t look quite as warm as it did a couple days ago. That’s it. That’s all we’ve bern saying.
-
End of Dec was cold. Early Jan was cold too until like the 7th. And then you're right it warmed up bigly til the 20th

I’m on board for a weren’t hopefully before V day but it’s borderline and could be ugly after for a time. I don’t know why that’s hard to grasp.
