  1. Past hour
  2. UKMET has been one of the better models in recent years. It’s going ~+2.05 for Sep and would likely rise a few more tenths from there. Then take off ~0.5 to convert to RONI. So, ~+1.5-1.6 C RONI in Sept and rising per UKMET. Euro ONI is just over +2.2 in Sept and rising, but it has tended to verify too warm although not as much warm bias verified on average in actual El Niños. This all suggests to me a mid to high grade strong RONI peak as of now. I’ll continue to update.
  3. Weeklies have 4 weeks in a row BN starting the 20th following the Neg Nao theme with well below normal heights for New England
  4. Wonder if we're getting some d-slope compression off the ORH hills
  5. Yeah I have lots of memories of this time of year in Lb. At least it’s sunny. The worst days are zero vis fog and raw wind. Those days feel especially cold, meanwhile it’s 80 and sunny in NJ. .
  6. 75 ...73 at KFIT about a 7 to 10F MET bust. Brian can you confirm that?
  7. They don't make 'em much better than today. Glorious conditions.
  8. Upper 40s in Long Beach. Water temp still around 43. Ouch.
  9. Maybe it will come down to the last game of the season. The Flyers will win in a shoot out and go all the way to the... Ah, never mind.
  10. If (IF) this is correct, that is insane for a 13 models/637 member ensemble mean for September, at +2.2C, since the El Niño will still be strengthening at that point. They normally peak in November or December….
  11. Onshore wind limiting temps on the south shore. JFK 51 and 62 CPK. Strong onshore winds next week with multiple Ambrose jet days possible. South facing coast will be significantly cooler .
  12. Wonder what the pacing is compared to 2023-2025. This multi-year run has been exceptionally wild…
  13. Im hoping for a bone dry spring and summer to keep all that in check
  14. Enjoy before the mosquitoes are out in droves.
  15. That’s the coldest March for Canada, overall, since 2002, which is below:
  16. If they have have the Triple Decadence WWS on draft I would recommend that. Incredible. Try the new 120 too.. curious what you think. I wouldn't do both in one sitting though lol. Nap time!
  17. I’m on 404 now heading down for a Dogfish brew and food event tomorrow. Looking forward to it! By the way, as a passenger, I read your post aloud to my friends and they were impressed by your review!
  18. We 70 Had an afternoon bite at Dovah’s new rivah front. Noice.
  19. For a late evening gone by late morning? Who cares.
  20. I’ve went into my full July irrigation schedule here. Even with it, this is probably the worst the lawn has looked in April in years. I have Texas Bluegrass that spreads with rhizomes like Bermuda and its repairing ability has completely stalled out these past few weeks.
  21. Back from Rehoboth just before all the Running Festival folks flood the town. Tried the new DFH 120 on draft. If you like massive hops start to finish this is the one for you. I was a bit disappointed overall, and especially coming off last years edition, which had the complexity associated with the huge/sweet malty backbone this beer is known for, plus the dry hopping for the first time that gave it a nice finish. The intense hoppiness in the new edition overwhelms the characteristic malty backbone too much imo. That said give it a try- true hopheads might love it. What I have always loved about it though, is the complexity and the balance.
  22. I imagine summer in the east will be on the milder, wetter, and more humid side
  23. 57.6° - Not bad if we can approach 60 That extra 5-7 degrees in this sun makes a difference
  24. Today
  25. Big signal for a strong +IOD development this summer, which will constructively interfere with El Niño
